Sofia Vergara‘s Supplements
Vergara adds a spoonful of collagen to her nightly cup of cham-omile tea. Collagen helps keep joints strong, and supports healthy skin, hair and nails.
When Vergara is home alone, she slathers herself in coconut oil and snuggles up in a ceramic wrap. Coconut oil is a superfood that does your body good inside and out. Its MCTs (medium chain triglycerides) contribute to heart health, increase fat-burning, reduce hunger and kill bad bacteria.

Supplements that support a healthy thyroid include vitamin B12 which can boost energy lev-els, zinc to improve immune function, and selenium which is an anti-inflammatory and also optimizes zinc’s benefits.
Adaptogens such as rhodiola rosea which can help alleviate ad-renal fatigue.
Vergara often has a calming cup of chamomile tea in the even-ing. Chamomile not only helps you get a restful night’s sleep, it also improves digestion, reduces inflammation and offers anti-cancer effects.
Iron also supports thyroid function and a deficiency can result in anemia and fatigue.
Hypothyroidism may affect magnesium levels, which can result in poor sleep, anxiety and nervous system disorders.
Probiotics are also important for healthy thyroid function because a fair amount of thyroid hormone conversion occurs in the diges-tive tract.
