Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton

Duchess of Cambridge
Born: 1982

Catherine Middleton grew up in Berkshire, England. Technically a ‘commoner,’ her parents were millionaires thanks to their successful party goods company. She attended exclusive boarding schools and was a good student, and she obtained a degree in Art History from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Middleton met Prince William at St. Andrews where they lived in the same dorm and had several classes together. Platonic friends at first, William’s interest in Kate first piqued when she appeared in a sexy dress at a fashion show. Under intense pressure from the press and the royal family, their relationship was up and down and they even broke up temporarily, but the pair eventually married in 2011. Middleton has had 3 children so far, including Prince George who is 3rd in line for the throne. Although she limits her social media presence, she has hundreds of thousands of followers on social media. Middleton is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 130 lbs.

Kate Middleton’s Diet

Diet Summary

Middleton was always slim and despite some severe morning sickness, she stayed healthy through her pregnancies and regained her physique afterward. She prefers to keep her private life private, but she is said to have used the Dukan Diet to drop 2 dress sizes before her wedding. The Dukan Diet is a high-protein, low-carb diet is similar to the ketogenic diet in that the body is forced to burn ketones (fats) rather than glucose (carbohydrates). Middleton is also said to do a lot of her family’s cooking, about which Prince William jokes ‘that’s why he’s so skinny.’ Middleton doesn’t avoid all carbs, however, and eats plenty of fruit. She does not consume dairy products, and she eats a lot of raw foods, including gazpacho and salads, saying she does this less for her figure but rather for her skin. She also drinks plenty of water and unsweetened tea.
