She has earned critical praise, nominations and awards for her many and varied roles, including a Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, and multiple BAFTAs. Blunt has undergone grueling training for several of her roles, including as a ballerina and an action hero. Blunt is married to actor John Krasinski and they have 2 daughters together. Circuit Training

Blunt works with trainer Jason Walsh who focuses on getting the heart rate up and increasing core strength.

Short & Sweet

Blunt’s workouts are short, 25-30 min and don’t require lots of equipment, so she can fit in a routine just about any time, anywhere.

Blitz Fitness

For Adjustment Bureau, Blunt had only 6 weeks to transform herself into a ballerina. Before then, she’d never even worn ballet shoes.

Massage Required

Due to her brutal training, Blunt injured herself in just about every way possible, and needed therapeutic massage multiple times a week to keep going.

Daily Dose

To get in shape for Edge of Tomorrow, Blunt worked out 6 days a week, 2+ hours at a clip for 3 months. She did a wide variety of training, including sprints, weight lifting and Krav Maga, the training program used by the Israeli army.

Weight Training

Blunt wore a weighted vest to prepare for the armor she would wear Edge of Tomorrow. The suit of armor weighed about 85 lbs., and was a lot heavier than she expected.

Grueling Workouts

To get her dancer’s body for Adjustment Bureau, Blunt did intense, bootcamp-style workouts that included resistance exercises, sculpting work and cardio. She also spend a couple of more hours in dance training every day at Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet in Manhattan.

Power Up

Left to her own devices, Blunt likes doing Pilates and yoga because she says they improve her strength and flexibility. She’s also a fan of the Tracy Anderson Method.
